I’ve always been drawn to photographs because one good image can say more than a whole explanation. It can stop you for a second and make you feel like you’ve been dropped into another place, another mood, or someone else’s life for a moment.
A lot of that started for me with old National Geographic magazines. I’d flip through them and get stuck on the images, not because I understood photography yet, but because they made the world feel bigger.
